Managing staff performance is important as this ensures that the Institute delivers on its mandates to its stakeholders. AISA is constantly challenged to be more effective, thus positive performance enhances our vision to be an indispensable voice on African affairs. The challenges of attracting the best candidates and retaining them as staff members compel us to create an environment that allows for innovation and that develops potential. The current performance management system is encouraged, and the proper alignment of staff objectives to those of the Institute viewed as fundamental and enforced throughout the Institution. Performance management is continuously monitored and enhanced. The staff development budget will continue to support the learning activities to ensure staff improve their performance.
