Aligning diplomacy to the SADC development Agenda

On 9–10 September 2010, AISA co-hosted a workshop with DIRCO at the latter’s offices in Pretoria. The workshop was attended by high profile people from various organizations such as diplomatic missions, government and academic Institutions, regional and international organizations based in Southern Africa. The discussions were based on the future of SADC regional integration and a common foreign policy, which entails developing an increasingly common curriculum and training for SADC diplomats in order that there is a regional perspective on international relations issues.
